February 21, 2021 - All about the cherry fruit, which is nice. Not much else going on on the palate. Certainly full bodied and large scaled, but not overripe. or flabby. A little bit of tannic bite. Enough acid to keep it from being flabby. Crowd pleaser sort of wine.
November 19, 2017 - Great Merlot. Spicy. Good tannins.
October 10, 2017 - Open overnight, the powerful tannins have softened.
Still cherry dominant, acidity underlying this suggests it is worth holding a couple of years
August 26, 2017 - Black currant and minerals on the nose, but just opened. Flowers, violets, but really dominated by red cherrry fruit on the palate. Very much tastes like a HHH wine to me. Sweetly fruited end but not overdoing it. Needs time to open.
July 3, 2017 - Full-bodied with a certain amount of heat. Dark cherry and firm tannins, medium length
