August 9, 2020 - Correct bouquet, with blackcurrant and pepper garden prominent. Juicy and lively, while also pleasantly restrained. It seemed some tannin has been removed, which detracts from the whole. Nevertheless, not lacking for appeal. 91-92.

Light ruby core in the glass
On the fruity side but nice for Texas heat
Nice fruit finish with medium tannins
Cuvee style that can be used for heavy o'dourves and not over power the food -

Comp's: Great Oak Knoll District Region Value and Starting Value for Corley/Monticello Wines; Pair with Lamb Chops; Similar to Mellowness of Unanime on the Finish, but More Napa Fruit-Forward -
