October 2, 2018 - Still getting better and more balanced the longer it is left alone. Black fruits, coffee grounds and liquorice. The rich fruit is starting to step back a little and become one with the tannin and acid. Still a powerful wine though, but it’s starting to find its place.

April 6, 2018 - Full bodied and dark as night but there is freshness to it. Fresh blackberries, black currant and mulberries. Liquorice, eucalypt and dried herbs. Soft tannins and good length. Seems to be getting better the longer it sleeps.

August 7, 2017 - Has definitely improved over the last year or 2. Still dark and rich but settling into itself a bit more. You get a lot of wine for your money. I imagine it will be better again in another few years.

April 29, 2016 - Violets. Fleshy black fruits, bit of dark chocolate, eucalyptus, and white pepper. Yep that's more or less a repeat of what's written on the label, but they got it right. Enough length. So good to drink, smashable.

April 17, 2016 - A little dusty on opening but a great fruitbomb once allowed to blossom. A good ten year option and a bargain at 12 bucks
