April 2, 2024 - Decanted 1 hr. Deep cherry and anise nose. Soft and silky black cherry palate, slightly drying finish. I like this wine sooner rather than later.
December 24, 2023 - Excellent wine. Dark ruby color with dark berry flavors. Nicely balanced and full-bodied with long finish.
August 9, 2023 - Big, Delicious & too bad it was out last bottle. It was perfect with steak & it would have been fine if it stayed in the cellar longer.
July 2, 2023 - As others mentioned, definitely give this a decant to both open and remove the sediment.
Dark fruit notes of Black Cherry, raspberry, and blackberry sauce, with spices of nutmeg and allspice. Tobacco, dried blackberries, and forest floor on the back end. Age is showing but still has plenty of life. Enjoyed this a lot after it opened up.

April 8, 2023 - Fantastic traditional cab. Needed 2 hour decant. Would have loved to see what it's like in 3-5 years.

May 6, 2022 - Drinking wonderfully. Strong fruit, tannins, and nice finish. Tim described this as "flashy", and, while less balanced and complex, may well have preferred it over the 2015 Domaine de Chevalier.
February 25, 2022 - Pnp and that was probably a mistake. It's delicious. cocoa poweder and dark fruit. Nice mouthfeel. Long. Beautiful. It's in a good place but just needs a little air to open up.
January 15, 2022 - Deep red color. Black currant, oak, and minerally bouquet. Good rich cassis flavor. Viscous texture, excellent grip and structure, yet possesses only modest tannins in its long aftertaste. A lot of pleasure here.
Sort of tastes like a 2003 Pauillac in style. Purchased upon release and stored in my cool cellar.
