April 7, 2024 - Mmm very good, drinking beautifully now. Really good balance of fruit and structure. Red fruits and damson here, backed by notes of leather and tar. Medium bodied. Good length with some complexity. Will last another decade or more.

March 31, 2024 - This is young, hold 5-10 years.
4 hour slo-ox followed by two hours in the decanter and it needed all of that air. Significant tannins at the start. Espresso, dark chocolate, cassis. Somewhat reticent black and blue fruit. Nice wine that needs time. 93+

March 2, 2024 - The wine looks brick colored. The legs are medium. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. The body is medium. The wine has bright texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

February 2, 2024 - Medium to Deep purple, black currant, forest floor, subtle char, followed by touches of red currant and orange peel, bright red and dark fruit on the attack with layers earth-tinged fruit, balancing acidity, high, but well integrated tannins, long finish with layers of red berry and dark berry fruits, herbs, earth, char, smoke, minerality, tart acidity and on and on, wow!

Shipped directly from Uccelliera, so may have had something to do with the quality showing of this "little brown one," as reference, have been drinking through a half case of the regular Uccelliera '10 Brunellos and truth be told, they are starting to fade, but this Riserva definitely has a long life ahead, best Brunello I've had in recent memory

October 25, 2023 - From the coravin. A big beast. Lively red fruit. Hints of tobacco. Firm Tanins. Beautiful and lasting finish. All coming together nicely. Maybe not peaking yet.
