  March 30, 2022 - Ran through aerating decanter about ten minutes before drinking. A lot of sediment. Very nice nose, good depth from front to back. A bit of heat on the finish, and a little disjointed. Sealed decanter and refrigerated half until next night. Removed stopper and left open to warm for about 45 minutes before drinking. Much smoother on second night, and almost all of the heat had dissipated. Would have rated an 89-90 on first night and a 92 on second. Hence the 91.

  February 26, 2022 - 4th Saturday Group Cellar Diminishment (Sue’s): Threw quite a bit of sediment. Abundant black fruit fruit and chocolate qualities on the nose and palate. Nice. (SS)

  August 22, 2020 - Nose of black currants, cedar, slightly floral. Tannins still powerful and strapping PnP. Improved on second day with medium finish, but still not really impressed for the price.

  April 18, 2020 - I thought this wine was very good. One pass through the aerating decanter, than 10 minutes of rest. Very nice nose, red fruits and florals. Good rich mouthfeel. A touch of heat on the finish, but overall a good experience. Think it will be better in 2021.
