June 17, 2021 - Solid new world Carignan. Not a varietal I normally seek out but this is well made stuff. Last bottle - it's been a fun wine to follow.

July 19, 2019 - Fleshy, vibrant red fruit wrapped around a nice core of acidity and tannins. Shines with food. Plenty of life left here with room for improvement in score. 90 +

April 7, 2017 - Dark fruit and wild with a firm (!) tannic backbone that grows stronger over time. There is plenty of depth for agin, so give it a few years in the cellar for its dark plum fruit and tannin to come into a more genteel form. Alternatively, did what I do, and drink it with a pizza where the assertiveness of the wine plays off the richness of the food.
