July 24, 2021 - Sensational, crunchy, ever so slightly candied red berry fruit, this enters the tongue with a tiny spritz and goes through with a long long slightly saline finish. Wasn’t expecting such a bright, lively energetic wine after drinking the same producer’s GC VV last night, which was a serious brooding cuvée. A lovely drop, paired with Tomahawk steak, and Chaource to follow.

April 23, 2021 - Pitted cherry, wood, menthol, cigar box. Reeks of luxury and class, grand cru indeed. Powerful in the mouth but with elegance and suave. persistent and quenching finish. Still a touch brooding and young, though perfectly enjoyable now.
