July 10, 2023 - Classic example of what Châteauneuf white should be. Nose is really lush and has many layers of complexity, apricot, mirabelle plum, quince, pastries, caramel, herbs and exotic spices. Palate is broad but not rich, midpalate is on the lighter side, I personally prefer just a little more density. Great length and moderate acidity. Aged very well and is pretty developped already, would consume within 5 years.

June 22, 2023 - Roussanne (80%) with 15% of Grenache Blanc and the balance shared by Picardin, Clairette and Bourboulenc. I like mature white CdP but I rather agree with Simon Field of Berry Brothers of a drinking window until 2020 (though many other commentators have indicated much longer). This was forward and certainly oxidative, and though from a notable restaurant cellar I wonder if it had been perfectly stored. An enjoyable drink with food, but not the assured pedigree expected.

June 6, 2022 - Really wonderful bottle tonight. Caramel, peach, green herbs and minerals, in an opulent and rich framework. Brilliant length, and the layered aspect of the wine is first class. Very Rhone in style - golden colour, slightly oxidative, and very complex.
