February 1, 2014 - The Snowden was dark ruby colored, starting to show a tinge of brownish rust color, however it didn't reveal any diminution of its bright vibrant cherry, currant and berry fruits, accented by a layer of eucalyptus before giving way to leather and earth with tones of anise on the tangy tight tannin finish.

July 25, 2012 - starting to get tired, still good and rich but acidity and tannins lacking for much more aging

January 7, 2012 - Wine holding up well. Number two wine in a blind tasting (oldest wine in the group). Firm tannins still in the long finish. Excellent with the meal of pork tenderloin with blackberry sauce. Very enjoyable.

    February 14, 2009 - delicious--full bodied, smooth---fantastic with veal--decanted for over 90 minutes
