October 30, 2022 - At the peak of its tertiary phase. Plenty of wet earth scents along poetic autumn leaves. The soil, or terroir, really came up to surface beautifully and with its mingling with well integrated sangiovese gives a profile reminding of wet autumn late afternoons of Chianti area. Slight bitterness with tangy back end, it goes beautifully with matured Parmigiano cheese or a classic tomato based pasta dish with generous portion of smoked pancetta. Amazing how this made me recall memories of the forests of San Vincenzo a torri in the hills of Tuscany near Florence. Beautiful and magical. Cheers,
