July 18, 2017 - Typical Sangiovese color, no signs of age. Quiet nose at first, blossomed a bit as it took on air. Red fruits and some forest floor. Good acidity, nice balance once it opened up. Medium finish. Good wine, not particularly special.

April 15, 2016 - Decent Chianti Rufina but didn't reach my expectations of a maturing reserva from Masi.
Berry fruit, some complexity. OK -

November 29, 2015 - Short note. Closed on nose and palate, opened up after a few hours. Toasty oak, black cherries, full body med+ finish and excellent structure for ageing. Give it another year and drink within 10ish.
