April 23, 2023 - Bottle had a bulging cork, but even with the raised cork, only about 2 cm of ullage. Not very clear or bright, with 2mm amber rim. Nose had only minimal fruits and it was more in the plum-dark fruit than cherry class. Taste was delicious and maybe some would say a couple of years past its peak, but I think it was still there. Overall, an excellent bottle from a producer that I have not heard about.
June 25, 2020 - I picked this bottle up and put it down trying to decide if tonight was a special-enough occasion. In the end, glad I leaned this way. Perfectly mature, and better than.my past btl from a bit over a year ago. Helped to warm up a couple of degrees above cellar temp. On the nose: damp earth, floral perfume, touch of brown sugar, black raspberry, tea leaves, asian spice...a panoply of flavors. On the palate, lovely acidity, tart cherry, great density, hi-toned wild strawberry, mineral notes, sea salt..fantastic complexity. Tannin still showing grip on the finish, but this is perfect aged red burg for my palate.
March 16, 2019 - After two disappointing 01 Gevrey GC, this got us back in order. Perfumed BM nose with red currant and sweet cherry mixed with musky florals and well-integrated oak. On the palate, good acidity, and more spiced red fruit. So elegant and classy. Seemed like the preferred red of the night.

August 12, 2011 - Wow. Loads of suave fruit. Out of the Riedel Sommelier Burgundy glass this is a panty dropper. Texture, fruit, complexity. Starting to show hints of tertiary aromas and flavors, but really still loaded with primary character! Thanks James!
