November 15, 2015 - The first bottle of our birthday month Sunday sips happy hour open to anyone in our small estate. A blend of 55% Semillon and 45% Sauvignon Blanc, it presents to the eye a green apple/yellow in a white Burgundy glass. Pleasant. Fresh and vibrant lemon, grapefruit and a touch of tart and petrol aromas on the nose. Equally pleasant. Apple tarts with lemon zest on the palate with a fairly short and simple finish. From from some of the stunning white Bordeaux available, it offers a nice, straightforward and crisp white to start the evening and is, well, cheap as chips...amazing QPR! Merci beaucoup!
