September 27, 2020 - Based on my previous TN, this bottle was decanted for 30 minutes, which allowed it to aerate and warm a bit. That definitely helped as this bottle showed a bit better than the previous.
There were notes of lemon, mineral, and a touch of tropical fruits on the nose. The medium bodied palate echoed the lemon as both crème and juice, added the minerality, then added touches of white fruit, and oak. The acidity was very vibrant, but thankfully, a touch less than the previous bottle. I don't believe that this wine will improve with time in the cellar, or with a longer decant, or if served at warmer temps, which does cause me to question the QPR.

May 28, 2020 - Rich tropical aromas and flavours but with high acidity. Very unusual for a Bourgogne Blanc

May 4, 2020 - PnP, chilled. Better after some slo-ox, and at higher than fridge temps. Even so, this medium bodied wine was not a blockbuster. The nose yielded some modest mineral and lemon notes. The palate echoed the lemon as crème, added just a touch of white fruit, and presented the minerality in layers. All of this was bound up in extremely vibrant (inching toward searing) acidity.
Wine Spectator summarized the 2013 White Burgs as: "Best are sleek and vibrant, with complexity, even creaminess; others are too lean and shrill." This wine seemed to favor the former, but not by that much - and certainly not by enough to justify the price. Not sure if the wine will improve with time in cellar, or if more air, or higher temps at serving would help.

November 16, 2019 - So this is my first Coche and probably the only wine burgundy I have not had. First sip was good but a little normal and it started to build and build creamy rich elegance so much balance terrific finish just amazing.. Everything and more its supposed to be.
