February 7, 2021 - Drinks beautiful right now, a brilliant burgundy-style Ahr Spätburgunder. The aroma has ripened to a bouquet of ruby cherries and red berry fruits, very light and burgundian. The lightness is perfectly supported by the fresh acidity that also carries the wine into a long sustain. Tannins are also light and soft, not a lof of blood / flesh in this one. Also not a lot of dark tones of tar etc. There is a touch of a green mint aroma that adds to the complexity quiet. Drank over two days and liked it most right after pop and on day 2.

October 13, 2018 - Opened by Mark who bought this at the winery during our 2016 trip. Not available in the US. Decanted 1 hour. Deep red color. Spicy red fruit with light oak notes. Minerals and black fruit notes. Tannins are still firm since the last time I had this 2 years ago. Excellent Pinot. 93 points.
