October 1, 2022 - Cork was not in the best conditions. Decanted for a few hours. The wine remains smooth and supple at 17 years of age.

December 18, 2021 - Full body, fruity, soft tannins and when enjoyed chilled well balanced by a amplified acidity.
Thoroughly enjoyable, lacking uniqueness too advance further

August 19, 2017 - Full bodied with ripe red fruit and ripe dark fruit notes. Also some dried mint, cinnamon, and burnt rubber. Tannins that will still rip your face off after 12 years. 15.5% alcohol (!!)

April 14, 2017 - Had this with a large italian meal at a restaurant. Probably have to have this on its own and with a decant to do it justice and give a fair rating. Despite the tons of sediment, I would say this will probably peak in another 3 years.

March 25, 2017 - Decanted for 90 min prior. Nose of dark berries and toast. Balanced dark and red fruits and tannin made it a perfect accompaniment to seared swordfish and farro. Inky color but a mellow flavor; still has lots of life!!
