Community Tasting Notes 2

March 26, 2014 - Pretty rich in color, nose is straight cherries and a little chalk, plus spice, a tad astringent, tart bing cherries, decent texture and weight, but the two previous vintages prove much better. Not bad, but want more ripeness.

November 26, 2013 - Earth and herb nose. Sour berries and some cedar on palate. Well placed acidity and tannin. I didn't like it as well as the Bourgogne rouge from Bruno Colin or Buisson, also from Kermit Lynch. But without direct comparison this one seems denser and I could see others liking this one best, or I could too at another time.
