Nose: dried cherry, light milk chocolate, some dried potpourri and just a bit of brett that blows off: sweat, leather undersaddle. Lightly projected.
Mouth: Smooth dried bing cherry segues seamlessly into a sculpted midpalate of light tar and drying leather. Finish is a blend of easy toast, spice flavors, and powdered stone mingling with fine grained tannins that have melted into the fruit.
Overall: Fine knit and lightly plush, this exhibits good palate action, and shows its age well.
