September 4, 2022 - A great White Burgundy. 8 year old wine showing maturity and developed flavours. Light lemon acidic aftertaste. Had with some steamed Coral Trout for Father’s Day!

October 17, 2021 - Outstanding like the first bottle, without a hint of premox. What’s very hard to understand is how the second bottle was slightly premox, and not of the same quality!

This bottle has mouthwatering minerality, with notes of citrus (mainly lemon), and oak. Very fresh (unlike the last bottle), with a medium finish. 91-92.

    August 7, 2021 - Appearance: medium gold.
Nose: medium plus intensity; aromas of honey, pastry, brioche, white peach, blossom, creamy, pebble/wet stone, marzipan, wet wool. It’s developing.
Palate: dry, high acidity, medium alcohol, medium plus body, medium plus flavour intensity, marzipan comes through. The finish is long.
Overall, it’s a very good wine. Can drink now, has potential for further ageing.
A typical Meursault. Rich and intense! Very complex on the nose already with the bottle ageing. The acidity offers great balance to wine to counter the alcohol, body and fruits. The flavours on the palate comes initially a little lean especially the front part, but shortly the flavour evolves and what’s fascinating is the persistent length with lovely marzipan flavour lingering through, which usually indicates a great Meursault! Enjoyable to drink now and still has quite a few years ahead. 95+ on day 1. Will see if it becomes better on day 2/3.

July 11, 2021 - Not as good as the last bottle. Still pleasurable, with notes of white flower, oak and citrus. A hint of premox this time, which is the downside. Drink-up!

March 17, 2021 - Quite shy nose. Opens up to be quite a savoury and long white burgundy. Still fresh. Don’t drink too cold. Drink now to 5 years. Excellent.
