October 30, 2021 - Openned up at 2:19pm. A tartness. Pepper tasty. The wine is tight. I think it will open up nicely.

May 4, 2018 - Acidic and sweet, like all Siduri Pinots. A bit simple compared to other producers with the same vineyard fruit.

March 19, 2018 - PnP. Great aroma of cherry, blackberry and anise. Lots of flavor with cherry, plum, blackberry, spice, a touch of oak. Ends with a smooth, silky long finish. Still has a little heat in the finish. Good now, may be better in another year or two after it settles down a bit.

October 21, 2017 - 2017 New York Wine Experience Trip; 10/16/2017-10/25/2017 (New York City, NY): Impressively combining structure with a complex core of spice and fruit, this medium ruby Pinot is delicious from the get-go. Coriander, anise and cardamom are superimposed on a background of red currants, raspberries and clementines. Medium-bodied, fresh, seamlessly alcoholic and appropriately oaked, it has good mid-palate density and finishes long. Very well crafted, this is one that should provide several more years of enjoyment. Drink now-2024.

February 25, 2017 - I hope I don't seem like a hater by giving this wine an 89. I decanted for 2.5 hours, then drank over 90 minutes, paired with sockeye salmon. It was really nice with darker fruit, but the complexity and finish never really got to where I expected them to go. The reaction I did get from this wine was focused in the front of my palate and never really rounded out to the fuller, deeper expression I was seeking. A very nice wine, but I can't give it a 90+.

July 25, 2016 - Popped and poured. Incredibly dark ruby color, good legs. Excellent aromatics. Cherries and roses. Wonderful palate, rich, full, flavorful, ripe and round yet with good grip and a very long, luscious finish. This is a beautifully plump pinot, seamless, just a touch of earth for backbone and structure, hard to beat. Drinking beautifully now. 4-12-17-9: 92/100.
