February 5, 2024 - bought on release, perfect fill, sound cork. This bottle rich mid-palate, and good length, complex, did well with salmon with rich horseradish & mustard sauce. Not the minerally wine of 5 years ago. Personally will match this super wine with richer foods for rest of its evolutionary arc. Great wine.

I don't think this wine is premoxed given its complex nose ... its just a more mature 10-year old wine from Chablis. People used to adore this stage as it complements richer dishes. Lechet is not Le Clos and has a different arc of maturization (see Jancis Robinson's book on this published 30 years ago...)

October 2, 2021 - Premox-esque bottle variation with the 2014 Côte de Léchet as I've had several quite advanced bottles and several stunners from the same case and since none were outright oxidized I've rendered mixed verdicts on this wine. Tonight is a winner, fresh and crisp, with a lovely bouquet of white flower and sea breeze. Crisply textured, fine minerality. Very good.

September 13, 2021 - Chablis 1er Cru 2014 (Stock, Oslo): Gul frukt på duft, honningtoner, melon, lime. Stram stil med sjøvann og østers på smak, sitrus i retning sitron. Middels intens. Høy modning på duft trekker noe ned

July 25, 2021 - An hour in the carafe to open up. Aroma of ripe lemons, yellow apples, great minerality with limestone and flint, salty sea, hazelnuts. A typical chablis on the nose. The palate, though, is what impresses me the most. Steel like acidity, phenomenal fruit concentration, salty, energetic, very long. A relatively rich style, but everything is in beautiful balance. Delicious, fresh and refreshing on a hot afternoon on the terrace.

I notice that some people have expressed concern about the cellaring potential for 2014 white Burgundy and Chablis due to the high acidity. Well, I do not share an ounce of this concern. The underlying fruit in the vintage is so incredibly beautiful with a very high concentration, and the 2014 fruit will have zero problem balancing the 2014 acidity for a long time. This wine is only at the beginning of its drinking window, but due to a slightly obsolete bottle last year, I did not dare to wait any longer with this one. Unfortunately my last bottle, but I would very much like to taste this again both 5 and 10 years down the road. 2014 shows again that this is a great vintage in Chablis! 91 points

July 20, 2021 - {Bought on release, had at BBQ at DH's house; Brief note} Classic Chablis citrus and minerals, some breadth in mid and late palate with melon flavors. In a good place now.

December 20, 2020 - Honeyed florals, more secondary development than expected, but my no means advanced – still quite crisp with a fine acidic profile. Likely best for near to midterm consumption.

November 10, 2020 - Lovely, as expected, with good clarity. Showing rather relaxed in structure and tension. Based on this and the '14 Tribut 1er Beauroy a week ago, my thought is that Tribut's '14s are in the zone now.

July 19, 2020 - Expressive nose of white flowers, citrus, oyster and sea minerals, wood spices, followed by sappy and juicy taste with fine intensity and length. Drinks well now, may keep.
