January 1, 2024 - Needed an hour to open up but once it did, wow. This wine is phenomenal. Power, density, rich, but weightless on the palate. White peaches, stony mineral, pear, white florals. Incredible streak of minerality and structure.

This should age 20+ more years no problem.

Amazing nose, layers of scents, flowers, mint, spices, very classy and elegant with great backbone, impressive length too. No rush to drink, still young but good right now too.

September 13, 2020 - Opened a bottle yesterday, the wine is still young to my palate.
In fact there is a beautiful freshness and still some green notes.
I would let it mature in the cellar for at least another abundant year.

October 20, 2019 - The 2014 Bachelet Monnot Batard Montrachet offers a lovely modern style of winemaking, slightly reductive, early harvest to retain its brightness and acidity, interestingly slightly green with a hint of petrol (which I thought could be 2013). Tasted blind – Modern style of winemaking. Bright citrus, crunchy orchard fruits with airy minerals. Meursault? creamy palate and silky texture. Gained more weight with aeration, very well made. Meursault 1er Cru from a good producer? 2013? (91/100)

March 1, 2018 - Very young, nose is very oaky now. Palate is broad and ripe. Citrus, orange, lemon, creamy peach, toast, clove, smokey, wet rocks. Needs a lot of time. Very intense and great depth. Hopefully with time more complexity will emerge.
