Day 2: A bit more open featuring dried cherries, tar, mushrooms, spice, funk and floral notes. Medium plus finish. This wine is tasty now but additional cellar time of 5 plus years will be rewarding. 93 points

October 7, 2020 - Beautiful. burnt/oaky red cherry fruits with balanced tannin and mild acidity. good now and will only get better with more time in the cellar. paired nicely with smoked duck in a pasta red sauce.

September 22, 2020 - Gorgeous wine. A little trite at first sip, but put on major weight as it warmed up and took on air. Just tasty and vigorous, spicy, structured, succulent cherry acidity. I totally dig this style. Drinking well now, but will probably improve over the next several years.
