January 1, 2018 - Excellent wine with olive, earth, and tons of other secondary flavors on the nose and palate. More tannin than acid but overall balanced. Would buy again @$30ish.

July 28, 2017 - Decanted 2 hrs. Dark fruit nose. Consistent, smooth tastes of darker fruits. Well balanced blend.

February 4, 2017 - We really enjoyed this full bodied wine, especially the second day. Elegant and smooth on the palate with distinctive prune notes. Reaffirmed our opinion of this solid winery.

January 21, 2017 - CA Dreamin' (The WineSellar & Brasserie, San Diego, CA): N: Lovely jammy/floral notes; Seems deep, but elegance to come?
P: Med, poss MF, body; NICE frt on the front met by a TIGHT mid palate; Long, balanced, only lightly astringent finish, though I suspect there are some "sneaky" tannins currently masked by the frt. NEEDS aeration now (for that mid palate), or several yrs of cellar time. VERY well made, & I "get" the reviews: 93 pts WE, 92 WA, 92 RJonWine, & 91 Vinous. 15.4% ABV; 62% Syrah, 19% P.S., 13% C.S., & 6% Malbec Only 429 cs produced, however, & this vendor's non-competitive price is basically the same as buying it winery direct. :(
