November 13, 2016 - This Barbera is very pure and fruit-concentrated, with less of the back of the throat aftertaste that I at least often experience with a Barbera. Very good.

January 31, 2016 - Sometimes wines present in the oddest of ways. I see peidmont I see long cellar I see brooding aging. I open this tonight and I experience bouncing verve, vitality and vigor. This is a terrific bottle just jumping with life fruit and acid. The tannins are transparent and this leads me to believe this is a wine that has spring in its step a unique - and short lived but great while it lives... Think James Dean or Jimi or Amy or Kurt. Really a bright star. Drink it now or soon. It's real real nice.
