October 18, 2019 - Very nice. Evolving nicely, with some golden color and deeper notes now at 6 years of age.

May 20, 2018 - Some much good wine comes out of the Santa Cruz mtns. And this Chard. is right there. $29 price puts it over the top. All the previous reviewers are spot on. For half the price you get twice the wine.

March 25, 2018 - Yellow fruited nose with a kiss of vanilla/oak. Lemon core, adding weight over time (due to air and also a more ideal serving temp) but never getting heavy thanks to a buttery umami element that slide layers of flavor through the midpalate. Has sufficient green-apple acidic energy on the back end to predict a few more years of quality life. Reminded me of a Joseph Phelps Freestone Chardonnay from a few years ago. Good QPR from a winery that has been around for many years but is now near the summit of all Santa Cruz Mountains producers and growing their national reputation accordingly.

November 12, 2017 - Second Sunday Group: 2012 v 2013 Napa Cabernets (Our house): Citrus, lemon and apple notes. Apple and citrus on the palate with terrific acidity. Long finish. Impressive.

October 23, 2017 - 2017 New York Wine Experience Trip; 10/16/2017-10/25/2017 (New York City, NY): Medium golden in color, this Chardonnay delivers a nice combination of ripe fruit, acid and minerality. Lemon curd, baked apples, white peaches, wet stones and vanilla reside in a medium-bodied, fresh frame with nicely integrated alcohol and equally well-integrated oak. Layered and dense on the mid-palate, it goes on to finish with impressive length. All components are in harmony here to ensure enjoyment for another 5-6 years. Drink now-2023.

August 18, 2017 - This is the third night it's been open and the best showing so far. It was tasty off the pop, but the treble was turned up a little high. Nothing obnoxious, just slightly off-balance.

Tonight it's more rich and tropical -- pineapple, salted butter, mango, lime curd, marshmallow, bananas foster, and sorelle. Crazy complex, persistent, and balanced. Finish just refuses to quit. About a 91 when opened, a few points higher tonight, and one of the best chardonnays I've had this year. Have been so impressed with the TF whites (including the north coast brut) lately.
