  March 27, 2016 - A blend of mostly Marselan with some Grenache Noir (20% in the previous vintage). Dusty and raisiny, like a ripe CdR that's seen extensive aging in cement vats; by no means overripe but perhaps a bit too dusty for some, though not for me. With time it developed notes of bitter cherry preserve on the finish. 14% ABV.

  March 24, 2016 - Lovely. A bouquet of spring flowers greets the first sniff, with impeccably balanced flavors following - a gorgeous mix of fresh-picked berry and ripe orange.
  
  I used to wonder what the RR/WA's Jeb Dunnuck meant when he referred to a wine's "inner perfume," but while I can't exactly define it, this wine gives me a better sense of what it tastes like - a certain sprightly aliveness in the glass that transcends mere pH level and seems to push its aromatics up the throat into the sinuses - in as pleasant a way as possible.
  
  The tannins are fine-grained, but powerful, so I might hold off another year or so to let this unwind. A home-run from Garagiste at $10.
