September 15, 2021 - Light- garnet to a brown rim. The bouquet is savoury with undergrowth, mushroom, herb and dried earth but saved by an elegant floral twist. As it opens more pear and mulberry arrive.
Medium+ acid on entry, the wine has a cherry stone texture, some lifted red flowers, strawberry and spiky alcohol. Feels rather ripe and syrupy yet with chewy, almost hessian tannins and a mineral grip. It sees to come together with a crushed stone and some compaction to the tannins making for a solid wine but I wasn't completely taken. Everything seemed rather gritty and open-knit. Bright finish and more rock dust as it exits. A tenacious wine.

August 23, 2020 - Opened tonight with rabbit in mustard sauce and braised red cabbage. Totally harmonious and graceful, no rough edges. Bright red fruit, floral overtones and balanced acidity in the finish. Deliciousness while waiting for the CdP to come around.

September 24, 2018 - with a bit of air this is nice. Red fruit and a touch of earth. Good balancing acidity.

August 18, 2018 - From memory: Wild strawberries, damp soil and floral perfume on the nose and palate. Fairly powerful and concentrated, but lacks detail – hard to explain, but comes across as a little “blurry-edged”. Not a major inconvenience, but a little more precision would no doubt have justified an additional point or two.

April 27, 2018 - Red fruit (cherry), minerality, some tannins, floral, tart. Good acidity. Really enjoyable but not the brightness of fruit in other vintages.

March 10, 2018 - Very tart. The cherry notes are there but the acidity is very high. Good food wine. A good wine but I think it's fully resolved at this point and not going to get better. Not as complex as the CdP.

November 24, 2017 - I think VITISCONCIERGE's note sums this one up very well. I'll add that this is more fruit-driven than the Cote du Py, which, based on my one previous bottle, was more earthy and a bit more silky on the palate. A step down from the CdP, but still a very well made, clean Bojo.
