February 26, 2021 - An excellent expression of the Cab Franc grape. Inviting aromatics. Lovely red fruit on the attack, wonderful black pepper spice, cedar and an evocative come-on dusty dry finish. This was perfect with our grilled skinny pork chops. Has a few good years left, but no reason to wait.

January 13, 2021 - Garnet. Nose is potpourri, roast beef, hint of eucalyptus. Fantastic! Medium+ acid. Super austere for Napa! Had I tasted this blind I would have pegged it as a Right Bank for sure. Red currant, grilled lamb chop with rosemary on the palate. Spicy finish, albeit shorter than I'd have wished. Had not sampled in years but would say it's improved a lot and approaching its peak.

August 23, 2017 - Rich and bold with just hints of rose petal on the nose. Needs some time for sure, but very delicious now. Hold this one for 5 years and reap the rewards. Drink now-2025.
