September 9, 2023 - W JH - Jenny/Rudy - with Lamb from Greenegg. Great piece of meat. Fantastically elegant cab typical Washington - more bdx than cali. Great fruit body and length. Medium weight. Will live much longer. - next to 2002 Lewis Cellars Cab // Robert Craig 2009 Howell Mountain. This was winner

April 16, 2023 - Excellent Cab Reserve from Gramercy. This bottle made me rethink the Gramercy cabs. I've often been a bit underwhelmed by them. They tend to be fine, well-made, drinkable but otherwise lacking in character. Good, but not wines that grab my attention. This one did. It was smooth as silk but had distinct cassis, pencil lead, baseball glove leather notes, as well as a fun peppery character. A hint of merlot-like mocha and floral flavors on the end. The tannins are substantial but silky smooth an sweet. There is a fun mineral component too. Maybe the Gramercy Cabs just need more time in the bottle to develop character.
Just remembered that I had a bottle of this earlier this year. Similar rating.

January 1, 2023 - Delicious, sublime Cabernet from Gramercy. Drinking really well right now. Black and red fruits, with enough cassis to be legit. Solid heft with some menthol, pencil shavings, minerals, a touch of cocoa and liquorice and the scent of violets (maybe African violets?) on the finish. Speaking of the finish, it goes on and on. Silky tannins have fully integrated and the wine is seamless and refined. Gorgeous.

December 28, 2022 - Quite nice (with steak) but probably with anything! Lots of life left, great balance and clearly defined varietal characteristics.

October 15, 2022 - Excellent drinks very well but will no doubt improve further over time.
