February 4, 2022 - Absolutely delicious.
I don't believe I have ever drunk a Forey wine - and I have over 150 bottles from 17 vintages in my collection - that gave me as much pleasure as this simple Bourgogne.
For a winemaker whose wines - I have found - take forever to open up and be ready to drink, only to rapidly fall off shortly thereafter, ie a very short and entirely unpredictable drinking window, this was revelatory. The flavors were well delineated dark and medium red fruits, cherry, blackberry and pomegranate; lemon and tart citrus; and darker notes of something I can't describe, but not earth, not mushroom, just a base note reverberating long, long, long...

March 16, 2019 - This is one of my fav Bourgogne.... it has a concentrated old vines texture and flavour with red and blue fruit. It is full and rich... und rbrush and mushroom notes... drink now to 2021 so that you don’t miss it.
