July 18, 2019 - Working wine wine Seminar two Burgundy, Beguiling, Bewildering and Beautiful (Est. Restaurant, George Street, Sydney): Cedar, sweetly spiced, fruit is muted beneath this; a touch of cherry, slightly funky. A tiny alcohol warmth initially, tight tannins fruit muted beneath this. Juicy. Medium length. Hmm.

July 17, 2019 - Light colour, almost orange-red. Curious for a young wine. Has a sort of smoky almost peaty aroma at first, underlined by a little alcohol heat. Fruit seems to be hiding in there somewhere. Bit closed down. Some spice character in there if I go looking for it. Palate doesn't look great to me either, bit unbalanced and wonky looking. Obvious sense of astringency here with very coarse, bitter chewy tannins on the finish.

July 15, 2019 - Supple, elegant and confident with heady blueberry fruits and a smidge of barrel complexity. Beautifully put together with some delicate floral notes on the finish. This is impossible to put down.

April 21, 2019 - Medium garnet color. Silky tannins and vibrant acidity. 13.5% well integrated with concentrated ripe black fruit (blackberries and black cherries). Judicious use of a third new French oak (spice). Interesting notes of spiced black tea. Finesse and long length of finish
