April 12, 2024 - This has really come around nicely since my last bottle and very much in the drinking window. Needed a little air and was wonderful with some steaks! Glad I have one more bottle!
July 3, 2023 - Plum and blackberry on the nose and palette. Shows earthiness on the medium finish. Drinking very well and definitely is not over the top.
May 17, 2023 - Still yummy. Not past its prime yet! Smooth rich red fruit. Earth on the finish. Enjoy if you still have a ‘14

April 12, 2022 - The thing that is amazing with Hall is how they literally are on the forefront of using technology to engineer great wines. The flip side is, sometimes their wines can taste uniformly excellent without a particularly defined character. I definitely get that from this — smooth, deep, leggy, approachable, affordable, but also lacking some uniqueness that I think sets the great wines apart. Lovely and reliable and worth every penny, but perhaps a tad forgettable the next day? Still, hard to go wrong.
December 12, 2021 - Solid cab. Nothing special, but good for the evening. Wouldn't drink with a super special meal though
July 25, 2021 - We put this up against a 2013 Smith-Madrone, and the S-M was the better wine. This was excellent, but didn't have the depth and elegance of the other. Still a great wine. Still young and I'd give it lots of air.
May 9, 2021 - This is really good, still in a great place with plenty of life ahead. A nice intense red fruit and plum profile, with medium plus tannins and some oak overtones on the finish. Decanted two hours.
