June 5, 2019 - Medium purple color. Aromas of vanilla, plums and cherries. More plums on the palate along with pepper, cherries and raspberries. Tannins low to medium, alcohol medium, acid medium. Paired well with baby back ribs. Drink up because this wine is starting to fade.

June 22, 2017 - Medium purple color with medium legs. More earthy than last year's wine. Aromas of dust, forest floor, mushroom and burnt toast. On the palate prune, plum and cinnamon. The body is medium/full with leathery texture and medium finish.
