May 2, 2018 - Hard and dry is how I would describe this. Looks surprisingly young, but little to no fruit remaining. I really struggled to get too much enjoyment from this bottle. If it wasn't for the label, I am sure most would have thought a more mundane effort and mid tier bordeaux. Completely outshone by a 1966 Durfort Vivens

July 8, 2017 - I did not pick it up as much on the nose, but something was off on this bottle and consensus was corked. Seemed to be in good shape for its age. NR

December 30, 2016 - An easy afternoon with close friends (@ PdV): The bouquet is a feast with pleasant barnyard, cedar, smoky oak, mature cassis and flint stone minerals. The horse stable smells disappeared after a while. On the palate earthy flavors, dark forest fruits, mushrooms, chocolate, autumn forest floor and beautiful oak, cedar and minerals like graphite. This was clearly the best, most refined and complex wine of the three. Beautiful!

October 24, 2016 - High neck fill, firm cork. Earthiness, blood orange and brambles on the nose. Very slight bricking at edges, still nice dark ruby core. Chocolate, iron, cherry, orange, minerals, salt, leather and earth on palate. Well structured, smooth tannins and savory blood orange finish. Fruit is fading a little, but an elegant wine with a really nice finish.

September 9, 2016 - GMs - 1995 Bordeaux Tasting: Level into the neck. Chocolate, iron and blood, earth, cherry and graphite. Palate still holds impressive structure, with plenty of savoury and lightly sweet fruit. Impressive showing for this wine.
