August 24, 2019 - Mild earth, cherry and cola. Great with chicken, hamburgers, and steak burritos.

February 16, 2019 - True Burgundy color. Dark cherries on the nose. The smooth palate features notes of black plums, dark cherries, and earth. Tannins are low, acid is medium, alcohol medium. Nicely balanced. Easy drinking.

While I do agree with previous reviews here that this is a rather pedestrian effort from Siduri, I still found it to be enjoyable. Paired well with wild Alaskan salmon. Drink now.

February 16, 2019 - Some over ripe character but otherwise very boring. An unusual dud from Siduri.

December 17, 2017 - A rare misfire from Siduri. I got this at the tasting room, so must have enjoyed it in that context. Mostly recognizable as Pinot Noir, but a sort of grim aroma, sort of overcooked, pruny fruit. Flavor is on the darker side, not many facets. Lots of acid, but without other balance it just sort of burns on the palate. Avoid this one.

December 16, 2017 - I really like the low tannis and how smooth of a finish for $25

September 3, 2017 - Bright, Ruby with burgundy tones. Color is almost to the edge of the rim. Dark cherry, raspberry, maybe some red currant, oak (Amer?) On the nose. No earthy tones, white pepper. Light high body, medium acid. Butter, dark cherry confirmed, some bitterness (oak?), Like the bitter of dark chocolate. Fills out rather nicely with spaghetti and red sauce. Overall a very nice cohesive taste, and very smooth: eminently drinkable alone or with food.

January 10, 2017 - Epitomizing the style of Pinot from the Willamette Valley, this deep ruby offering presents its fruit in a frame of fresh acidity, seamless alcohol (14.1%), nicely integrated oak and soft tannins. Red currants, cranberries, anise and smoke-laden earth hold nicely throughout the mid-palate, all the way through the lengthy, tart back end. Quality Oregon Pinot is as close to Burgundy in character as this continent will get. While the fruit here is more generous than its French counterpart, the structure is comparable. At this price point, the Beaver State holds an edge. Enjoy this one over the next 4-5 years. Drink now-2022.

December 13, 2016 - Medium red. Dark berry and vanilla nose. Sweet, approachable fruit with a little stem on the finish. Drink young, as it is ready to go.

October 27, 2016 - Not a lot of structure, depth, or complexity here, but it's smooth and very approachable. Fruit froward. Good QPR. Drink now.
