August 21, 2019 - dark brooding resonant black fruit. this has some heat and high alcohol (which after 2 glasses you really feel it). Well made, but it is like a Hattori Hanso Steel Sword. s

May 17, 2019 - Really tart black fruits and quite a bit of structure. I sipped this on its own, but think it would have done better paired with some food.

March 22, 2019 - I'm sure it is suggestion overtaking my perception but mixed blacks describes the fruit component of this wine--blackberry, currant, black plum. Not particularly full-bodied, at all, but eminently drinkable, Good acid. Light tannin.

December 1, 2018 - Decanted for 5 hours prior to first taste. The nose on this was fabulous! The temptation was to simply bury my nose in the rim of the glass and not even bother to taste it. Thankfully, I did not do that! This wine is drinking well right now, but I suspect it could get even better with another year or two. Those of us tasting it found the flavors to be bright, somewhat spicy, cherries and raspberries. The texture of the wine seemed less dense than many of the other Bedrock blends we've tasted, but that actually added to the appeal for us on a night filled with heavy wines. Was it mind-blowing? No. Was it PDG (Pretty Darn Good)? Oh yeah!
