November 11, 2023 - This is lovely. It’s is quite ripe but not a blockbuster huge style. Initially some perfumed furniture polish sense on the palate.
After it opens my mind evokes an Italian style like Isole e Olena
Decent warming finish - some fresh uplift in there
Very good, plenty of time on its side
That perfumed note comes through on the nose.and as it opens get a slight Meursault oak tang to the finish.

September 2, 2023 - Ultra ripe and unmistakably a product of that era of Napa. Tannin and body are faded but still alive. I’d drink these if you have them.

The initially subdued nose of stones, spicy oak, chocolate, and warm alcohol opens up to reveal blackcurrant, black plum, caraway, and a hint of jalapeño. More complex on the palate, although lean in structure, with a rich mouthfeel and a long finish. Terroir: Eisele Vineyard
