February 16, 2021 - A special 16 year old Spring Valley wine! Been waiting for a special time to have this one but holding my breath given its age. Drank really well all the way to the end.

December 23, 2018 - Definitely not as good as the last time I had it. 15 year old Napa and was past it’s prime (or wasn’t kept in primo conditions). Had alongside Barnett 2012 Spring Mtn cab which the group likes better.

    For Mom’s b-day.

August 21, 2015 - Worth the wait. Smooth and integrated. No sharp edges. Deep cassis, blackberry and a touch of umami. Lovely wine.

February 4, 2011 - Cellared for 52 months...opened for my birthday. Let sit open for 2 1/2 hours before drinking...dark ruby red; hints of blackberry and coffee on the nose; firm tannins and chocolate with a hint of vanilla on the finish. If you've visited the winery, you know exactly where the grapes came from...makes the wine even better...

May 21, 2006 - Barnett Winery Visit & Tasting (Spring Mountain, Napa Valley, California): Barrel sample tasted at the winery. Huge fruit and bold tannins make this a wine to watch. Tremendous amount of high-end Spring Mountain Fruit with young, but fine grained tannins provide the promise of an excellent wine (95-97). Only 400 cases will be made.
