November 9, 2022 - Good value for the money. Shows the vintage in good ways. No hurry to drink up. Some fruit left but tertiary notes starting to show.
September 3, 2022 - Pretty classic blackcurrant and church pews. Decent. Drink sooner than later as much declined from evening to lunchtime next day.
November 5, 2020 - Cherry and chocolate on the nose. Raspberry, cranberry and mocha on the palate, along with some coffee, beef jerky and leather notes. Very dry, although played quite nicely with food.
October 16, 2020 - 2/6. No formal note - this had ripe dark fruit, touch of mineral and mocha, medium/full bodied with softish tannins, finished a touch short
June 21, 2019 - A lot of fruit, fully ripe, harmonious, perfect now, but a bit lacking of structure.
October 7, 2018 - Un point de plus que pour la dernière. C'est gourmand et j'aime ce nez de poivron rouge bien mûr qui ressort à l'aération.
October 6, 2018 - Bu au chalet (Magog) avec Caro et Jerome avec des pates crème, poulet et champignons.
March 1, 2018 - Tout à fait d'accord avec Jeff Leve qui le décrit parfaitement plus bas. J'ajouterai que ses tannins sont plus souples que beaucoup de 2005 qui peinent à s'assagir même après plus de 12 ans.
October 6, 2017 - Fully mature, and slightly on the rustic side, there is still plenty of spicy, dark red fruits and licorice on the nose and palate to enjoy. The wine was made from a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, 20% Petit Verdot and 3% Carmenere.
June 21, 2017 - I think this is right in the sweet spot for the '05. Still meeting our expectations. A favorite. Enjoy.
