June 15, 2021 - Very dark red, decanted 3 hours before dinner, plush nose of dark cherry and plums with a bit of tobacco, on palate fruit was dense and savory, well balanced and has put on weight since our last bottle 21/2 years ago. Continually improved over the next 3 hours. An elegant effort by Blankiet.

January 17, 2021 - What a wonderful surprise this was ... I had to do a double-take when trying as I thought I may have accidentally pulled something from Bordeaux, as after 4 hours in the decanter, this came off very Left Bank (St. Julien?)-like. Unlike anything I have had from Napa in recent memory. While the fruit had faded a bit, there was plenty going on with savory earthy notes and fine drying tannins on Day 1. Day 2 came across almost similar to a Ridge Monte Bello of similar age. Quite the experience and am definitely keeping my eyes out for more of this!

August 2, 2020 - Terrific wine in a great spot right now.
Boasting gorgeous notes of black cherries, purple plums, vanillapods, grilled bellpepper and luxurious oak. Pinch of soysauce and freshly cut herbs.
In the back I get wonderful grainy tannines and some refreshing acidity.

Opens up with dried blueberries and salty cedar wood. Tannins soft. Not that much depth to be honest. Medium aftertaste. Overwhelmed by the Cheval Blanc 1994

December 29, 2019 - Drank way to young. Not yet integrated. Will wait a decade before next bottle.
