August 25, 2023 - Bold dark fruit, loads of vanilla on the nose. Cassis, blackberry, cherry are the main fruit flavors on the palate. Even with a long decant, the tannins remain strong. Not much complexity and a moderate finish. Still youthful ten years from vintage. Enjoyable, but you come to expect a little more at this price point. 90-91

BHP1994 Does not like this wine: 87 points
January 6, 2023 - Maybe it’s just not in a good place right now. Drinks hot. Alcohol is very in your face. Tartness over fruit. Acids feel very out of balance.
