January 3, 2022 - Absolutely beautiful. Clearly a pristine bottle. Classy, if not classic and in a great spot to drink.

January 3, 2022 - Good but nothing exciting. Dense with grainy tannins. Wine was similar over two days. Difficult to predict if there is any room for improvement.

Disappointing for such a great right bank vintage.

December 30, 2021 - Different impressions and notes for this wine at CT. For me this wine is still too young, a hunk, kind of iron fist in in iron glove; after three days in the fridge (after the first glass) and a long afternoon to gain temperature this dark wine showed black fruit, vanilla, good wood and a sucré start in the mouth, close to overconcentration, but still at the right side. The alcohol and the bitters are noticeable. For me there is a kind of similarity between this wine and the '11 Quinta das Carvalhas LBV. It indicates for me the intensity of this puppy. Give it some years more and than also lots of air and you will become rewarded (perhaps with some points more).
