May 14, 2022 - Last night, opened a bottle, that was sherried, pretty undrinkable, went on to another wine. Tonight, opened another bottle, of the 7 left. And it was very good. Years ago, in Paris, using Patricia Wells Paris book, went to Lucien Legrand, and one of the staff was nice enough to help me and recommended Moulin Pey Labrie ( 1985), and then somehow found the wine in Annapolis. Lovely wine, and memories of a picnic on balcony in Paris.

February 3, 2021 - Opened and decanted 1.5 hours ahead of leftover mixed grill. Murky, cloudy violet-purple color. The nose brings blackcurrant, cherry blossoms, and red roses. The palate is medium-full, square, dense, and chalky, bringing blackberries, red cherries, dark chocolate, dark roast coffee, fig, and scattered tobacco notes into a tannic finish. Despite the medium-low acidity with dense tannins, this drinks elegantly at the moment. Drink 2021-2028. Technical score: 91. Enjoyment score: 91.

December 28, 2020 - Enjoyed this very much. Not a fruit bomb, but solid pleasant berry notes and flavors. Finish was smooth. Coravined for about 1 hr before drinking glass. ratings are off.
