August 7, 2023 - Delicious - classic pomerol, now nicely aged.

September 18, 2022 - Plenty of plummy fruit
    Hints of leather
    Creamy oak
    Herbs/savoury notes
Used an aerator with this one which seemed to soften the tannic structure
Still has a few more years in it

February 21, 2022 - Delicious. Still slightly tannic, so worth airing ... but full bodied and complex. With hint of musty fusty just to demonstrate its age. Will keep for another 5 years and mellow further, I guess

July 24, 2020 - Translucent ruby red. With some coaxing, plums, red cherries and a smoky note emerge from the glass. In the mouth, the wine is (barely) medium bodied, with modest density of red fruits and some chocolate notes that appear right away. Then somewhat hollow, almost diluted, on the follow through, with little in the way of density or length on the palate. This bottle is disappointing in the context of appellation and vintage, and at ~ $50/bottle at futures pricing, it isn’t much of a value either. I sure hope my other bottles will show better, as this one is pedestrian, at best. 13% ABV.
