June 10, 2017 - For a gamay this is rich and full. Smooth with a nice peppery finish. Wish I had another bottle!

January 2, 2017 - 100% Gamay Noir, planted in 1993. 10 months in 20% new French oak.
Light decant given. Well perfumed and massive scents of white pepper and lavender greet the nose after the swirl accommodated by bramble, black cherry, raspberry and earth aromas that are spot on for the varietal and resembles a Cru Beaujolais very closely.
The medium palate is built around a core of white and black pepper, black cherry, brambly raspberry, lavender, earth, ash and dust. Tannins are surprising on the finish that lingers nicely with juicy acidity. -

December 6, 2016 - As rustic, earthy, and 'dirty' as any Cru Beaujolais that I have come across. Impressive frame and substance. Intensely juicy, herbaceous, and long. Highly interesting! 92-93.
