February 4, 2023 - Color: Dark deep purple with hints of rust red
Nose: Black fruits with heavy blueberry. Rich and deep. Blackberry preserve.
Palate: Surprisingly crisp with nice acidity. Fresh blueberries, strong notes of pepper and rose petal.
Body: Medium to full. Well balance mouth feel from front to back. Meduim plus tannins that are well rounded.
Finish: Long and lingering. Meduim plus acidity
Beautifully develloped wine that will benefit from an hour of decanting, despite the 10 year age on it starts rounding out after 15 minutes. Beautiful with lamb or a fatty cheese.1 person found this helpful Comment -

January 2, 2023 - Great wine with multiple layers. Very meaty in style, with black fruit and schist to compliment it. Long finish and surprisingly elegant.

February 28, 2022 - Blue and black fruit are complimented by olive tapenade, beef blood, garrigue and spring flowers. This is a lovely iteration of the Syrah grape. Good depth and texture. The aromatics are just a hint of what the palate experiences. Good juice.

November 19, 2021 - Funkier and darker than the other bottles of the evening (a good thing), this was a nice blend of black fruit, olive and grilled meat - certainly drinking well now and probably 5+ years.

As light and pretty a Washington Syrah, which is also judiciously oaked, that can be had. Indeed, it screams Washington, though in a pleasantly restrained style. A touch higher acid would have put it over the top. This bottle could have easily aged another five years. Improvement seems possible. 92-93.
