June 27, 2020 - Splash decant opened it up nicely from the start though it continued to improve. A bit more temp sensitive than most. I love the viscous mouth feel (not to everyone's liking) and the enormous amount of complex fruit balanced with just barely enough acidity. Fun to drink with others because everyone tastes something different.

September 24, 2019 - Not quite as vibrant as the bottle I had 3+ years ago but enjoyable none the less.

January 21, 2019 - Not quite as good as the first bottle, but still very nice. I'd drink up over the next couple years as this won't get any better.

December 6, 2018 - This is a pretty intense wine, although a little air time seems to reign it in a bit. Light golden color. Aromas of sliced almonds, salinity, white flowers, tropical fruits, green apple, white pepper, fresh herbs, weed, and a little rubber or maybe riesling like petrol. Interesting. Full bodied, lush, and viscous on the palate, medium(+) acid, long finish, and flavors of tropical fruits, big time pineapple, apple and some heat giving a bit of a calvados vibe, and saline. It is impression leaving, that's for sure. I'm enjoying it a little more post meal sipping, but it worked pretty well w/ shrimp & grits earlier as well. I wonder if this will age a bit. I like it.
