June 14, 2020 - very nice and fully mature. Has some nice tannins and energy on finish. fruit and taste more in the dark purple fruit along with mocha notes. Sumptuous wine.
August 10, 2019 - Similar notes as one year ago. Has held up, but clearly, drink up!

November 6, 2018 - Opaque. Nose a chameleon changing back an forth from stewed to fresh berries. Far between micelles filled with spices and plum on the palate. Refined and absolute. I needed it to knock me of my feet. It didn’t. But I feel lucky nontheless.
October 22, 2018 - Just fine, but lacking in intensity/depth to be a special wine. Bottle was from the auction market, better bottles may be out there.
June 30, 2018 - 4x4 - Mini Tastings: Beautiful lush flavors of sweet black currants mixed with coffee. The tannins are slightly rough but not in a disturbing way.
Lovely intensity and a great wine!
June 2, 2018 - Similar notes as previous tastings. No need to hold this any longer. Blackberries, currants, black cherries, plums. leather, licorice, coffee, and some earthiness. Smooth medium to long finish.
